Terms of service
These are the rules that apply when you order from us. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By placing an order you accept them, so please read them before you buy.
“We” and “us” mean ABULU, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] or on WhatsApp.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm it — either by sending an order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods, whichever happens first.
We may decline an order if the items are unavailable, if the price was listed in error, if we cannot verify the payment, or if the order appears fraudulent. If we decline after taking payment, we refund you in full.
Prices, currency and taxes
- All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Prices exclude import duties, VAT and local taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
- Shipping is $3.90 worldwide, and free on orders of $50 and over.
- We may change prices at any time, but never after we have confirmed your order.
- Discount codes cannot be combined unless we say so, and have no cash value.
Payment
We accept payment through PayPal. Payment is taken when you place the order.
We never receive or store your card details. If a payment is reversed, declined or charged back, we may suspend the order and, where goods have already been sent, ask you to pay again or return them.
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us before raising a dispute with PayPal or your bank. Almost every issue is faster to resolve that way.
Your artwork and intellectual property
By sending us artwork, you confirm that you own it, or that you have the owner’s permission to have it reproduced. You are responsible for that, not us.
This matters in particular for:
- Brand logos and trademarks you do not own
- Characters, artwork or designs protected by copyright
- Sports club crests, band logos and similar marks
- Photographs of other people, or images of minors
We may refuse any artwork we believe infringes someone else’s rights, or that is unlawful, hateful, obscene or otherwise unsuitable. If we refuse, we refund you in full.
If a third party brings a claim against us because of artwork you supplied, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.
Your artwork stays yours. We use it only to make your order and to keep a copy so that reorders match. We do not sell it or use it in our own marketing without your permission.
Proofs and approval
For custom orders we send a digital proof, normally within 24 hours. Production starts only after you approve it.
Approving the proof is your responsibility. Please check spelling, punctuation, colour, size and shape at that stage. Once approved, the proof is the specification we produce against, so errors that are visible on the proof are not grounds for a remake.
You may request changes as many times as you need before approval, at no charge.
Production tolerances
Embroidered patches are physical goods made on industrial machines, so small variations are normal. The following are not defects:
| Item | Accepted variation |
|---|---|
| Finished size | ± 3 mm from the size ordered |
| Thread colour | Slight shade differences from screen colours, and between production runs |
| Stitch count and density | Minor differences, especially on very fine detail or small text |
| Cutting line | Up to 1 mm of variation around the edge |
| Backing placement | Centred within 2 mm |
Screen colours are not a reliable match for thread. If an exact colour matters, ask us for a physical colour card before you approve the proof.
Very small text, thin outlines and gradients may be simplified so the design embroiders cleanly. Where that is likely we tell you at the proof stage.
Delivery, risk and title
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Title passes when we have received payment in full.
Delivery estimates are typical, not guaranteed, and are measured from dispatch. Our full rules on shipping, delays and missing parcels are in the shipping & delivery policy.
If we cannot deliver because the address was wrong or incomplete, or because the parcel went uncollected, the order is treated as delivered and returned to us. We then contact you to arrange reshipment at cost or a refund minus shipping.
Returns
Returns and refunds are governed by the returns & refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: 30 days on ready-made items, and custom items are covered if they do not match the proof you approved.
Limitation of liability
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent the law allows:
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including customs action, carrier failures, strikes, natural events or public health emergencies.
Nothing in our returns policy reduces the statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
Site content and intellectual property
This website, its text, layout, photographs and the ABULU name and logo are owned by us or used with permission. You may browse and share links freely, but you may not copy our content for commercial use without written permission.
Product photographs are illustrative. Because every patch is made to order, the item you receive may differ slightly from the images shown — see the production tolerances above.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.
This does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence, including your right to bring proceedings before your local courts where the law allows it.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. In practice, most disputes are settled in a single conversation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. The date below shows when it was last changed.
